Vazhvanthol waterfall is located near Vithura, around 46 km from Thiruvananthapuram on the way to Bonacad. You have to travel almost 10 km from Vithura to reach the Kanithadam check post and from here you need to travel almost 6 km to reach the Vazhvanthol waterfall. From the check post, vehicles are allowed only till the next 3 km and from there you have to take a walk.

You will be allowed to make the trek through the forest only from 9 am to 2 pm. Apart from that, if you want to drive your vehicles inside the forest area, you need to seek permission from the forest department.

Once you reach the top of the forest, you can see the beautiful waterfalls cascading down its route. You can also see various bird species along with a cool and rejuvenating atmosphere. The rocks over the top are slippery and you need to be extra careful while walking over it.
